From first assessment to your return to sport

What we focus on

  • Movement and performance assessments, so you know where you stand
  • Care for strains, sprains, tendon and joint pain from training and sport
  • Home exercise plans that fit around your training, not instead of it
  • Return-to-sport plans with clear milestones and retests

We see footy, netball, soccer and cricket players, runners and cyclists, tennis and golf players, and people who train at the gym.

For active adults, we are your team. Assessment, hands-on care, rehabilitation and your return to sport, all in one place and with one practitioner.

Conditions we see in active adults

How your care works

  1. Assess

We hear about your sport, training load and goals, then test how you move, your strength and control, and screen thoroughly so nothing is missed.

  2. Explain

What we found, what we suggest, how long it should take and what it costs, with goals you can measure. Then you decide.

  3. Treat

Hands-on care for joints and soft tissues where it helps you move and train more comfortably. We explain each technique and ask before we start.

  4. Rebuild

Progressive exercise that restores strength, range and control, then drills that match your sport.

  5. Retest

Regular retests and clear milestones before full training and games, so you can see your progress.

Questions from active adults

What does a sports chiropractor do?

A sports chiropractor assesses and cares for the muscle, joint and spine problems that come with training and sport, using hands-on care, exercise and a staged plan back to your sport, with regular retests along the way.

Do I need to be injured to see you?

No. Many active adults come for a movement assessment when something feels tight, weak or not quite right, or before stepping up their training. We explain what we find and what we suggest.

Can you help me get back to sport after an injury?

Yes. We build a staged return-to-sport plan with clear milestones, and you return to full training and games when you pass the retests, not just when the pain goes.

Do you see teenage athletes?

Yes. We see junior and teenage athletes, adapt care to their age and stage of growth, and a parent or carer is welcome in the room.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly online or by phone.

Can I claim sports chiropractic on my health fund?

Yes, if your extras cover includes chiropractic. We accept private health insurance.
